Prior to commissioning all cadets are required to possess certain water survival skills. Annually all soldiers and officers are required to attend a water survival techniques class. All newly commissioned officers must be able to swim. As part of the Military Science coursework, all cadets take the Combat Water Survival Test.
Cadets are required to experience a 3-meter drop into water, blind folded and carrying a mock M-16 rifle, and also swim 15 meters in uniform with gear while keeping a mock M-16 rifle out of the water.
Additionally, cadets must learn submerged equipment removal techniques. For this requirement, cadets must jump into deep water wearing load bearing equipment. While underwater, they must release the equipment, swim to the surface and reach the edge.
Other skills learned include creating floatation devices using one’s uniform and survival floatation skills.

Playing airsoft and am hoping to find a new ACU to wear than my current woodland BDU. Reason I am looking for a store in my area is because although it would be easy to go onto any army surplus website and purchase the shirt and pants, I’m not sure what sizes would fit best on me. The current BDUs I am using were my dad’s when he was in the Air Force 20 years ago. Any help would be appreciated. Located in Celina, Ohio 45822
DO not get the ACU’s or as i like to call them, I See You’s. the stand out in every place i have played, and i have played in every thing from woods to desert to urban….get the newer Multicam instead, it works a lot better. I have 2 sets of ACU’s right now that I can not pay some one to take away.
I bought if from a garage sale and was told it was WWI. It looks very old and is a beige kind of color.
There is a tag on the inside that says "Sun Brand Sleeping Bag Sun Tent Luebbert co San Francisco-Los Angeles" It also has snap buttons along the side that say "Sun Tent-Luebbert SF&LA Cal"
They really didn;t make what we would call a sleeping bag in WW1 era. It is most likely an M-1942 Mountain Bag which is quite common and based on the color, used in WW2.
I want it to have a shape instead of being really baggy. Something you can see a girl wearing.
