Playing airsoft and am hoping to find a new ACU to wear than my current woodland BDU. Reason I am looking for a store in my area is because although it would be easy to go onto any army surplus website and purchase the shirt and pants, I’m not sure what sizes would fit best on me. The current BDUs I am using were my dad’s when he was in the Air Force 20 years ago. Any help would be appreciated. Located in Celina, Ohio 45822
DO not get the ACU’s or as i like to call them, I See You’s. the stand out in every place i have played, and i have played in every thing from woods to desert to urban….get the newer Multicam instead, it works a lot better. I have 2 sets of ACU’s right now that I can not pay some one to take away.

I know that you must have a member of your immiediete family serving in the armed forces but is there anything else that permits one from doing that?
the only thing you might need is a military id some stores require you to show proof before they will let you check out.

No, it’s not deductible, but donating items is. You can check the Salvation Army or Goodwill websites for Guidelines on deductions.

if your town is a small town with poor people, then the thrift stores usually doesn’t have good stuff because nobody donates anything good. If you are in a larger city then they have great stuff there, like computers for 25 dollars and video games
If you PCS to Korea with your family, will the Army store your household items?
Or do you have to store the items that you can’t take at your own expense?
if you are on accompanied orders, anything left behind is stored at gov’t expense. If you go over NCS, it will be out of pocket.

Where is there a good army surplus store in Cincinnati?
I’m looking for a good army surplus store in Cincinnati or the surrounding area. I’m looking for clothes, MRE’s, supplies and possibly some ammo.
There really isn’t one. There is, however, one over in Newport, Ky. It isn’t very big but it may have something that you are looking for. It is on Monmouth Street. If you take 471 S. into KY you will take the third exit (Newport/Ft. Thomas) and go right. Go left onto Monmouth Street. The store is just after the 2nd light (I think) on your left. Good Luck!
